This is our personal collection of Edgar Allan Poe covers. Some are unique to this collection and are not for sale. Some duplicates are for sale on another page. If you have a Poe cover that is not here I would be interested in purchasing it or having a picture of it to show on this site. We would like to compile as complete a listing as possible, with pictures, of all the 1949 FDC and any unique covers with the Poe stamp.

The covers you see here were FDC cancelled Oct 7th 1949 Richmond, VA on the 100 anniversary of Poe's death. Then we had them cancelled again Oct 7th 1999 Richmond, VA on the 150 anniversary of his death. A friend of ours that lives in VA did this for us.
